We had a fantastic experience with Jalen, who came to repair our boiler on very short notice. He was professional, efficient, and went above and beyond to ensure everything was working perfectly. Not only did he fix our boiler quickly, but he also took the time to inspect the system thoroughly. During the visit, Jalen identified an issue with our backflow pipe that we weren't even aware of, spotting potential problems before they could escalate. His keen attention to detail and genuine care for his work saved us from a future headache. Highly recommend Jalen for any plumbing needs!

Yes, a water heater can indeed explode. Anything that causes excess pressure on your water heating system, such as a poor anode rod or a lot of sediment buildup, could potentially cause a water heater explosion.
The most common problem with water heaters is typically that the water tank produces too little hot water. Usually this can be solved by turning up the temperature on the tank’s thermostat. Be careful, however, not to turn the temperature up too high, as this can produce scalding hot water.
On average, replacing a gas or electric water heater with a similar model takes around two to three hours. The process usually takes between 45 to 60 minutes to drain, disconnect, and remove your old water heater.
If your current water heater is between ten and fifteen years old, it is at a much higher risk of malfunctioning and requiring frequent costly repairs or failing completely. In the case that your water heater is nearing the end of its lifespan, you should highly consider having Bonfe Plumbing, Heating, Cooling, Electrical, & Sewer replace it altogether.
If you are planning to move, having a new water heater installed is a huge incentive for new buyers. Additionally, if you’ve just moved into a new Twin Cities Metro home and you don’t feel that the current water heater is meeting your hot water needs, you may want to consider just installing a new one with Bonfe Plumbing, Heating, Cooling, Electrical, & Sewer right away.
Lastly, if your water heater is experiencing issues, and costing you money with constant repairs, it can actually be more cost efficient to have Bonfe Plumbing, Heating, Cooling, Electrical, & Sewer replace it with a new water heater.
