BONFE KIDS COLORING CONTEST

Every season, Bonfe holds a coloring contest for Twin Cities kids ages 12 and under. Our whole team votes, and two families win.

Color Us Impressed.

At Bonfe, we’re experts in essential home systems. But after 30-plus years in Twin Cities homes, we also know what’s on the refrigerator…and we think it deserves a bigger audience. 

Each season, we release an original coloring page designed by a local illustrator for kids ages 12 and under. Your kid colors it, you send it in, and every entry goes up on the wall at our South St. Paul office, where our techs, schedulers, and office staff spend one week voting for their favorites. 

There’s one winner per age group (7 & under, 8–12)  and two per season, and their artwork will be showcased on our website, in our newsletter, and on social media. The artist will receive a $50 gift card to the local toy or book store of their choice, and the proud parents will receive $50 off their next Bonfe service.

HOW IT WORKS

  1. Download and Color
    Download this season’s coloring page, print it out, and let your kid have at it. Crayons, markers, paint…any medium works, but please limit it to one entry per artist per season.

     

  2. Send It In
    Mail the original to our South St. Paul office (Bonfe, Attn: Coloring Contest, 455 Hardman Ave S. South St. Paul, MN 55075), or take a clear photo and submit it using the online entry form. Every entry gets hung on the wall for our team to vote on.

     

  3. The Bonfe Team Votes
    Every entry goes up on the wall at our South St. Paul office, and our techs, office staff, and customer service team spend one week voting for their favorites. One winner per age group (7 & under, 8–12).

     

  4. We’ll Be in Touch
    We reach out to the winning artists’ parents directly within 48 hours of the vote closing. The winning child’s artwork will be showcased on our website, in our newsletter, and on social media. We will only include their artwork, first name, and age.

Mail the original to our South St. Paul office and write your child’s first name, age, and a parent contact phone/email on the back. We’ll hang it on the wall for voting.

ABOUT THE ILLUSTRATOR

Lydia Mueller is a Minnesota-based illustrator and designer. After studying animation and graphic design at Minneapolis College of Art and Design and hanging up her gear as a wildland firefighter, she’s gone on to spend more than 15 years illustrating and designing.

Lydia’s work is inspired by nature, humor, her children, and the little magical things that happen when we aren’t watching. Her work spans children’s publishing, editorial and commercial illustration.
